About Grass Roots Public Space

The mission of Grass Roots Public Space is to engage people in growing food in order to foster a greater appreciation of our environment and community. To meet this mission, we work to plant and maintain food gardens throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and continually organize programs and activities at these locations for the community to get involved.
